It is not hard to see Fireworks throughout the 106 miles of the Florida Keys on Independence Day.
From the northern most point in Key Largo down to the southernmost point in Key West, each of the very different groups of islands celebrates America’s history with a spectacular fireworks display that is a sight to behold.
Now as you can imagine these pyrotechnic extravaganzas are extremely popular with both Conch families and tourists who flock down to the Florida Keys all year round, but especially on this historic national holiday, so a little insider information would be useful so you get the best seat in the house.
And that my loyal readers is where we come in.
We will give you the lowdown of the best places to go to see the fireworks, and not only that try to fill you in with times, extra activities and general fun and excitement that only occurs on the 4th July.

Firework Displays In Key West
The Key West Rotary Club If you you fancy popping down to Key West for Your Fireworks displayThen the rotary club bring a great display to Key West on the 4th July each year.
It begins around 9:00pm and lasts 30 minutes or so.
It certainly seems a lot longer.
If you want to get a really good view of the display then the best locations to head for are either Higgs Beach or the Casa Marina.
Although this is nothing short of spectacular to watch you will be surprised to read that the fireworks are free to watch, and are funded purely by donations received by the Key West Rotary Club.

This is a really great display and really caters for all the family.
On the 4th July you can join one of the parades that make their way down to the beaches of the Florida Keys, where its not just the pyrotechnics that will keep you busy but live entertainment and games for the kids too.
Get here in the afternoon and compete in the volleyball tournament before gorging yourself on hot dogs, burgers and fish sandwiches as the sun goes gown.
All around you, even out to sea, people will get their best positions to watch the festivities.
So don't be surprised to discover a traffic jam of boats that can sometimes beat what you would expect on land.
